0

In a recent video circulating online, controversial comedian Afia Schwarzenegger appears to indirectly address rumors surrounding her son James’s sexuality.

The video emerged amidst a heated exchange where Afia vehemently defended herself against accusations that she opposed the anti-gay bill because of her children.

Two years ago, Afia’s former close friend, Nana Tornado, accused her twin son, James, of being gay, alleging that Afia’s parenting contributed to his sexual orientation. Tornado further threatened to expose Afia’s personal matters if she continued her public tirade against him.

Despite the swirling controversy, James’s alleged gay partner came forward to deny the rumors. However, in the recent video shared by Afia, she seemingly acknowledges, albeit subtly, that one of her sons may indeed be gay.

The video has sparked further speculation and discussions online about Afia Schwarzenegger’s family dynamics and her response to the allegations.

Male musicians want to ‘chop’ us before we feature them – Wendy Shay reveals

0

Wendy Shay, also known as “Ghana Wake Up,” has opened up about the challenges female musicians face in the industry, particularly when seeking collaborations with male artists.

In a candid discussion with Berla Mundi on TV3’s special International Women’s Day edition, Wendy Shay revealed the unsettling reality of how some male celebrities demand sexual favors from female musicians in exchange for collaboration opportunities.

Highlighting the male-dominated nature of the entertainment industry, Wendy Shay expressed frustration over the disparity in treatment between male and female artists. While male musicians often readily collaborate with upcoming male artists, they impose additional conditions, including sexual favors, when approached by established female artists for collaborations.

“This is a male-dominated industry where women are mostly overlooked. There is this rejection on the path of women. We get a rejection from our male counterparts when we want to have a feature,” Wendy Shay emphasized, shedding light on the systemic challenges faced by female musicians.

She further lamented the double standard, where male artists are more willing to collaborate with upcoming male artists but impose unfair conditions on established female artists. This disparity creates additional hurdles for female musicians striving to make their mark in the industry.

Wendy Shay’s candid disclosure sheds light on the underlying issues of gender inequality and exploitation within the music industry, sparking important conversations about creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for all artists.

The royalties system in Ghana can be worked on- Sarkodie

0

Sarkodie, Africa’s highly acclaimed rapper, has expressed his views on the issue of royalties in Ghana, considering it a significant topic in the country. In an interview, he emphasized the need for improvements in the royalties system, describing it as a relatively simple task.

The rapper suggested that implementing an effective royalties system is achievable with the right approach, either through governmental intervention or by industry stakeholders taking appropriate measures. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that musicians recoup the money they invest in their craft.

Sarkodie proposed a system similar to those in Western countries, where musicians benefit financially from their creations. He outlined a scenario where establishments playing music would log each song played, allowing musicians to receive compensation accordingly.

For example, if his songs were played at an event, he reasoned that he should receive compensation for each play, which could amount to a significant sum considering the frequency of such events in Ghana, including parties, funerals, and naming ceremonies.

This is how John Kumah was poisoned – new exposé drops

0

According to Oheneba, Chairman Wontumi’s close associate, John Kumah was allegedly poisoned through grilled Guinea Fowl. Oheneba recounted that during a campaign rally in Tamale, both Chairman Wontumi and John Kumah were served grilled guinea fowls to eat.

After consuming the meat, they all fell mysteriously ill, with Chairman Wontumi experiencing persistent vomiting throughout the night. To mitigate the situation, Dr. Bawumia’s personal doctor was urgently called to administer first aid.

Despite the initial treatment, John Kumah declined further medical attention, believing he was fine. Unlike Chairman Wontumi, who continued with regular health check-ups, Kumah’s decision not to seek further treatment may have contributed to his demise, as the poison had reportedly been in his system since November.

It’s suspected that certain influential figures within the NPP orchestrated the poisoning incident. Captain Smart had also reportedly voiced similar suspicions prior to Kumah’s passing.
