This year’s Easter celebration was one of a kind. Ghanaians, despite complaining about how ‘hard’ the economy is, made sure they enjoyed themselves ‘proper proper’.
On the normal, Easter is a celebrated by Christians to mark the death of their saviour Jesus Christ but since it has also been considered as a ‘festival’ on their calendar, most Christians after marking the death of Jesus Christ ‘spoil’ themselves very well to celebrate the fact that Christ has come to die and save them from their sins.
These includes the intake of long-term-harmful foods and drinks that they wouldn’t have taken on normal days.

The current episode of Ghana’s leading TV talk show ‘Girl Vibes’ hosted by multiple award-winning presenter Mercy Bee saw two immaculate, brainy, clear-sighted women on the show, to discuss about how Ghanaians can stay healthy after the easter celebration.
Nancy Pearl Agyapong who is a nurse and student midwife along side Abigail Gift Mensah who is also a registered nurse and programs coordinator ‘Mbasiafo’ an NGO which is into nurtuting young girls or women took to the platform to educate viewers in an outstanding way.

They kicked off with some of the things done during the Easter season that could be detrimental to our health. Fatty foods as french fries, fried chickens, etc which were obviously ‘abused’ during the festive season were things they also made mention of.
Doing the viewers of the number one most educative TV show ‘Girl Vibes’ more good, the two added how one can stay healthy after all these activities during the Easter season.
Abigail Gift Mensah when asked ‘after the enjoyment, what next?’ by Mercy Bee the Ekumfi Princess: “Well I think after the enjoyment what we need to now detox from all the junk that we’ve consumed……….we can also be running checkups, it will help us know our lipid profile the amount of cholesterol in our system”.
Nancy Pearl Agyapong also educated Ghanaians on how they can improve upon their skin with the help some fruits she mentioned. Even though some people use artificial means and a whole lot routines, she recommended some natural and easy tips.
I can’t wait to vibe with you 🤞🤗
