Frank Lampard has hinted he could be open to becoming Chelsea’s permanent boss at the end of the season.
The legendary manager was named the Blues’ caretaker manager on Thursday, replacing Graham Potter who was sacked last Sunday.

According to The Mirror, the former Everton boss will be in charge of the west Londoners for the remainder of the season as the 2021 Champions League winners hunt for Potter’s substantive successor.
With a top-four finish almost out of sight, the publication claims Lampard’s immediate assignment will be steadying the ship for the remainder of the campaign before club owner Todd Boehly decides on what direction he would like the club to take.
