Skit maker John Kennedy Kanu aka Bros Jay Kay and a woman said to be his lover have died in a road accident.
The comedian and the woman, it was gathered, were involved in a car crash which occurred on Rumuodara East-West Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Sunday night.

The comic, who also owned a media and e-ticketing company called Reelwood TV, was said to have rammed his vehicle into a broken down waste disposal truck, leading to the fatal crash.
His friends have begun mourning him on Facebook where he was more popular.
Uzoma Favour wrote: “Bro Jk why u no beg death? Y good people de die quick? Why do u have to leave us with this plenty n painful memories. Bro Jaykay plz wake up. His death made me to remember d pains I felt wen I loss my Dad. RIP till we meet again.”
Hype Man, who said he lost touch with the comedian some years back, wrote: “Though it’s been a very long while we lost presence, but looking at your achievements and how far you’ve come in the entertainment business keeps me going. It’s so sad to hear of your sudden demise in the early hours of this morning.”

Hype Man recalled that Bros Jay Kay escaped death following an accident last year but could not replicate it.
“I pray God gives your mom and kid brothers the strength to bear this loss. Rest in peace John Kennedy,” Hype Man added.
Bros Jay Kay’s death came a day after he celebrated hitting two million followers on Facebook.
On Instagram, the comedian and actor has over 21,000 followers. He regards his older colleague in skit making Mark Angel as his “boss and role model”.
