In Ghana, there are nine young men who call themselves the Asakaa Boys, namely: O’Kenneth, Jay Bahd, Kawabanga, Cedi City Boy, Reggie, Kwaku DMC, Sean Lifer, Rabby Jones, and Braa Benk.

They’ve been hard at work, writing music to drill beats, and using YouTube’s countless how-to videos to learn how to mix and record their songs, shoot music videos, and design cover art.
These rappers have been in the rap game for over three years, but say their music was “never really taken seriously” until last year. They made it their mission to ensure that their social media presence was enough to reach their fans at a time when a global pandemic kept them even further away.
These boys have been also recognized on how they project the Ghanaian culture to the whole world in a unique style through their music. This year, they are set to embark on a world tour which will obviously be a chance to promote Ghanaian culture the more. Currently they have disclosed the countries they would be visiting but the cuties and exact locations and tickets (if any) will be communicated to everyone with time.
Fans and lovers of thier craft are currently in full anticipation on the upcoming project.
