The whole Ghana celebrates, as the the country reaches it’s sixty sith year after independence. This year, unlike the previous years, the celebration was sent to the Volta Region of Ghana, Ho, Adaklu on the theme “Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose”. Every year apart from this year the celebration used to be held at the independence square, Accra, the capital.
Looking at the current trend, it is highly possible that the next independence day would be sent to a different location, as the president has started.
Blogger and social media influencer, Blacc Tbwoy comes up with a location as he suggests the next independence day celebration should be held at Kasoa, one of the cities in Ghana. As to the reason why he has Kasoa in mind it is unknown.
Kasoa was formerly known as Odupongkpehe and it peri-urban town in the Awutu Senya East Municipal District of the Central region of Ghana.
