Since Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah stood his grounds together with his regime to claim independence from our colonial masters ( The British Colony), Ghana which was by then Gold Coast hasn’t been the same again.
“Ghana! Your beloved country! Is free forever!… O. Dr. K. Nkrumah.
The victory is surreal, and the people of Ghana are blessed to be liberated from the oppressors rule. Since 6th March 1957, Ghana 🇬🇭 is renewed, refined and re-empowered again.

Daniel Jeddman dedicates a song to honor every Ghanaian on this special day;
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Daniel Jeddman

Nkrumah led an authoritarian regime in Ghana, as he repressed political opposition and conducted elections that were not free and fair.[11][12][13][14][15] In 1964, a constitutional amendment made Ghana a one-party state, with Nkrumah as president for life of both the nation and its party.[16] Nkrumah was deposed in 1966 by the National Liberation Council, under whose supervision international financial institutions privatized many of the country’s state corporations. Nkrumah lived the rest of his life in Guinea, where he was named honorary co-president.
