Stranded students, of the University of Ghana particularly residents of the only all-male hall- Commonwealth Hall numbering over five hundred trooped the hall with their belongings to enquire why they could still not access their rooms, after they secured an injunction against the implementation of the new policy revoking the residential status of continuing students of both Mensah Sarbah and Commonwealth Halls. It was this enquiry that the police, who had cordoned-off the hall started pushing them back, molesting and arresting some of them in the process, while the others run helter-skelter. So far 18 students have been arrested. Below are some comments from social media, as some against the actions of the police
